“So relaxing and fun! Sheila and Liv took great care of us and were super friendly. They brought us all kinds of local treats to try and beverages. It was nice to have a smaller sized group and have room to move about on the boat. The captain kept us informed and jumped down to help me back on the boat after swimming. We were also able to see a group of pilot whales with babies! It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon and be pampered.”

Review of Mirissa’s $65 whale and dolphin cruise, with breakfast, restroom, hotel pickup, boat comfort, sightings, value, and practical tips.
“The trip was not luxury. We saw dolphins for 5 seconds and Minke whales for maybe 5 minutes. We left at 6:30 AM and got back at 12:00. They stayed out longer to show us the Minke whales. The crew was super nice but we were all feeling pretty sick and wanted to go back. We did not get any seasickness pills so my daughter threw up and there was no coffee, tea or juice. Sandwiches, watermelon and water were provided. The crew were super nice and the toilet was clean however this was a so so experience.”

One thing that made this trip stand out was the unlimited drinks and the warm meal served onboard. Having a delicious, proper meal out on the water added a lot to the experience—it felt like a real day out rather than just a tour.
