★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 595 reviews · 5 hours · from $129Our pick

Review of Mauritius dolphin swimming and whale watching by speedboat, with snorkeling, wildlife ethics, practical tips, and honest value advice.

“Good ethical company. We were lucky and managed to see both the whales and dolphins today. Other boats were allowing people to jump in the water whilst the whale was present and it would then disappear. It was clear it didn’t want to be disturbed. The dolphins didn’t appear to mind that everyone was swimming amongst them. It did get too busy with all the other boats but overall a great experience”

“A great trip for us as a couple. Good mix of people on the trip, guides catered for all. Boat was comfortable and super fast. Guides were well informed and knowledgeable, and nice local people. The dolphin experience was a little hectic mainly due to other companies jostling for space! Hardly a surprise that the pod we saw kept diving deep for some cover. Nevertheless, awesome being up close and seeing them even if for a brief encounter. The snorkelling spots were ace, crystal clear waters and huge variety of fish to see. I even spotted a sea snake. Lunch on the island was great, a pleasant surprise a glass…”

Review of Mauritius private dolphin swim: boat access, snorkeling, safety, cost, timing, wildlife concerns, and who should book.

“Our family had an amazing experience swimming with the dolphins. The captain on the boat was excellent, he took us to multiple locations to give us the best possible chance to get amongst the dolphins. His final spot was excellent, pod of dolphins numbering about 25 /30, he put the boat in the desired position and told us when to go for it. We got really close to the dolphins with everyone experiencing being surrounded by the dolphins. The captains local knowledge was superb and I thought the price was excellent for a party of 8 people. To actually get right in amongst the dolphins was an amazing experience for…”

12.Private Dolphin Swim/Snorkeling & Lunch on Benitiers island

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 3 reviews · 7 hours

Review a private Mauritius dolphin swim, Crystal Rock snorkeling, BBQ lunch, and Île aux Bénitiers beach day, with practical value tips.
